Smaller, faster, better binding
Conventional magnetic beads are ferrite particles held in a polymer shell. TurboBeads are a pure metal core coated in elemental carbon, so the magnetic moment per gram is far higher and the surface chemistry is bonded, not adsorbed.

Autoclave to 140 °C. Thanks to the carbon shell, TurboBeads stay intact in extreme thermal, chemical, and mechanical environments.Â

The same chemistry in a 2 mL tube or a 10 L vessel. One gram clears 10 L in less than five minutes.
Ready to functionalise
Silica, -COOH and -NH2 are ready now. The carbon shell will host whatever chemistry you need on top.
