This notice explains how ProtonDx Ltd uses personal information collected through protondx.com: what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have.
Who we are
ProtonDx Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 12534364. Our registered office is I-Hub, 84 Wood Lane, London W12 0BZ. For anything about your personal information, email info@protondx.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation if you give it, the product or application you are interested in and your message. We need the fields marked * to reply to you. If you email us, we collect your email address and anything you include. When you visit the site, our website platform records technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you view.
How we use it, and why we are allowed to
We use your details only to reply to you about your enquiry. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in answering questions about our work, or because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract. Our website platform uses technical information to keep the site running securely and to measure, in aggregate, how the site performs, which is also in our legitimate interest. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
The site is hosted by Wix.com, which stores contact form submissions and technical information for us, and we use Microsoft 365 for email; both act on our instructions. Our pages load the Public Sans typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when you visit. We may also share information when the law requires it, or with a buyer if ProtonDx is sold or merged.
Transfers outside the UK
These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States and Israel. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the safeguards in their data processing terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and the emails that follow for up to two years after our last contact with you. If an enquiry leads to a business relationship, we keep what that relationship and our legal obligations require.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies its platform needs to work and stay secure, plus one that measures how the site performs. It uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or have it sent to you in a portable format. Email info@protondx.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
